JOURNALS
Daily Life Journals
At the beginning of the simulation, you will create a Google Doc that will serve as your journal for the simulation. Name the Doc your Name- Feudalism Journal and share with Mrs. Jones' email.

At the end of the simulation, you will be required to answer the following questions in your Google Doc. Your responses will save and update automatically.

Make sure your answers are thoughtful and detailed as the journal will be a large part of your grade for the simulation!

ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS AS HOMEWORK IN YOUR JOURNAL: (serfs should complete journals for nobles)

1. What joys and problems your manor experienced as a result of the dice rolls performed by the nobles
2. Who died in your manor and how they died
3. What progress you made on your role specific tasks
4. How many bushels of grain your serfs sowed that day

***Your journal should also include notes over the information you read on your Role Assignment Page under "About Your Role in The Manor..." ***
Death Journals
If you die at any point of the simulation, you will immediately be required to sit apart from your manor and fill out a death journal form. You may access the death journal form below.
​
Your answers to the questions required in the death journal form must meet certain length requirements before they can be submitted.
Once your death journal is completed, you may rejoin your manor and continue your task assignments.
​
You must complete a death journal each time you die.
